There is nothing that can wreak havoc on your day like allergic reactions, and as a lifetime allergy sufferer, I should know. The discomfort of this condition is somewhat difficult to describe. For me personally, my reactions are caused by pollen and similar seasonal allergens around my back yard. I will be strolling down my street, feeling just fine, and suddenly allergic reactions hit me hard. Once in a while, I will wake in the morning, already fully congested and extremely miserable. As the day moves on, my throat will continue to itch, and the more time I venture outside, the worse things get until the allergies are so bad that I have to lay down.
Of course, my allergies are unusually strong, and I generally have to undergo more treatment than the majority of sufferers. Many people use medicine to find relief from their allergy symptoms and just stop there, but for me it is not all so easy. Not only do I have to use an antihistamine, but I actually have to use two of them. On top of all of that I must get shots for my allergic reactions. These shots make my arms swell quite a bit which is occasionally is worse than the allergy symptoms.
Now, what I have been doing recently has gone some ways towards making my allergy reactions not as severe as it was prior. I’ve been completely following my doctors tips. I have found that when I do that my symptoms go away and I can breathe much easier.
